UGA Renews Croatia Program

The University of Georgia has agreed to extend a study-abroad partnership in Croatia.

UGA faculty members signed the deal with the Ivo Pilar Insitute of Social Sciences in Zagreb, the capital city, while visiting May 13 with 24 students.

Kavita Pandit, UGA’s associate provost for international education, gave a lecture on the internationalization of higher education, and UGA faculty received medals from the institute.

The “Maymester” exchange program has served more than 200 students since it began in 2006.
